Boat Update

27Jun

Written by Zico

It’s been a while since my last blog entry, and yes, getting high-speed internet at home is to blame!

Boat progress since last week:

1. Most of the upper deck extension is finished

2. New engine room cover completed

3. The curved walls at the front of the boat are in place and work has begun on the side panels

We visit our boat at least once, usually twice a day to check on the progress. Some days, we stay for a while to watch them work and it’s incredible. There can be anywhere from 6 to 10 guys working on our boat on any given day and they each specialize in certain tasks. I said to Eric that watching them work made me think of the Ocean’s 11 crew, how each guy knew exactly what to do and when to do it.
