Finding Nemo without a tank on your back

Ko Lipe Diving - Finding Nemo

This beautiful photo of the ever-popular False clown anemonefish, more famously known as “Nemo”, was actually taken while snorkeling around Ko Lipe.

You don’t need to venture very far to find these cute and amusing fish. They can be easily spotted off the beaches of Ko Lipe in less than 2 meters of water. Don’t be fooled into thinking that they are swimming up from their anemone homes to say hello to you. In fact, they are trying to chase you away! They are fiercely protective of their homes and some species of anemonefish will bump or even bite snorkelers and divers who get too close.
