Can you see it? The Peacock sole (Pardachirus pavoninus) is quite common in these waters, but not so easily spotted due to the fact that it’s often well camouflaged against the sandy bottom on which is it usually found.
Look closely and you can see it’s eyes, set quite close together. From there, you can make out the oval shape of the body. They usually lie motionless, even when photographers get right up close to them.
